Bucknell has made a strategic investment in integrating GIS across the undergraduate curriculum. We believe that giving students multiple opportunities to use in varied, different learning settings helps them develop critical spatial thinking skills that go deeper than mere technical proficiency. In this presentation, we will give examples of how involving undergraduate students in all phases of the cycle of research, teaching and scholarship is a boon for faculty and students alike.
