University Student Experiences with Esri Community Analyst

Urban planning graduate students at San Jose State Univ. need access to authoritative geospatial data in order to comprehensively assess current conditions in local disadvantaged communities they serve. For some, ArcGIS Desktop is a time-consuming learning hurdle, so we have introduced Esri Community Analyst, a browser-based mapping tool that pairs accurate data with easy-to-learn tools. Now all students can focus on building spatial literacy, workforce-readiness skills and academic confidence.
