Using Technology to Drive Student Engagement in Natural Resources

GIS has become an essential tool for workers and managers in natural resources. SIPI is looking to strengthen its Natural Resource and Geospatial Information Technology programs by highlighting the use of technology in Natural Resource courses. We want to share some techniques that we have used at SIPI to integrate GIS and Natural Resources to increase student engagement and increase interest in both programs.
