Changes in technology cause changes in the GIS-labour market. HAS University of Applied Sciences (Netherlands) created Geo Media & Design, a four-year bachelor's program. Supported by GIS technology, students use spatial thinking and information design to clarify, analyse and solve economic, social and sustainability issues. Employers are enthusiastic. International scope includes project internship opportunities and a search for partners to adapt the format and exchange internationally.
