Tracing the Story - Natchez to Nashville Using Story Maps

In response to a request from the National Park Service, interactive story maps and lesson plans helped bring the Natchez Trace to life for students and teachers. The project highlighted how teachers could use existing data to teach the Natchez Trace in a variety of subjects. Furthermore, the project provided professional development and encouraged teachers to use AGO for project-based learning as a means of meeting Common Core, Next Generation Science, and geography standards.
