Conversations at the University of Minnesota have contemplated the future vision of geospatial activities across all disciplines, including how to best embrace the idea of a “Spatial University” – system-wide. U-Spatial and the Geospatial Analysis Center at UMD collaborate to identify, grow, and sustain spatial support across the system. Funding model challenges and opportunities, as well as success stories of spatial research, teaching and operational support collaborations will be shared.
