Exploring BAO in Undergraduate Business and Marketing Courses

A pilot project at Cal Poly introduced BAO to 80 students and two faculty in introductory and Advanced Marketing courses. This pilot was used to gauge the utility of BAO in students’ research and coursework, and to develop the administrative workflows needed to support broader use of BAO in courses and projects. This presentation will describe the collaborations, workflows, and lessons-learned from this initial foray into using GIS-based tools in the College of Business.
