Exploring a Methodical Approach for Integrating and Applying GIS in Education

Even with a growing canon of GIS in education resources since 1992, there remains a need for a single resource or textbook that teaches educators best practices in integrating and applying GIS. We believe that a methodical, pedagogical approach to geospatial technology will change how all teachers see the content they teach. Connecting geography, global data, and real-world problems to the tenants of education changes the landscape of education and empowers future generations of problem solvers.
