GI Learner: A Learning Line on GIScience in Education

The GI Learner project developed a GIScience learning line for secondary schools, so that integration of spatial thinking can take place. This implies translating the spatial and other competences, taking into account age and capabilities of students, into real learning objectives that will increase spatial thinking education activities and help produce geospatially literate citizens.<br /> The project created lesson material for K7-12, freely available via www.gilearner.eu.
