Bridging Generations: Mapping St. Augustine Nat’l Cemetery’s Veterans Landscape

The National Cemetery Administration’s Veterans Legacy Program brings universities and K-12 schools together to memorialize veterans buried in our national cemeteries. By mapping the veteran landscape (e.g., conflict, rank, gender, ethnicity) within St. Augustine National Cemetery, we are creating tools and curriculum to bridge the generations between veterans’ lives and today’s students. We are helping students understand the sacrifices made by our nation’s veterans during both war and peace.
