20 Years of GIS at University of Denver: Reflections and Best Practices

This presentation will focus on the twenty years experience in Geographic Information Sciences education at the University of Denver. We will discuss curricula design, best practices, and evolution of our program on these two decades. We will reflect on this academic experience focusing on the contextual background students receive, from the management of natural resources to public utility management, public works engineering, environmental impact assessment, and even market research.
