GIS across the Interdisciplinary Curriculum

This presentation Illustrates a pedagogical approach that incorporates interdisciplinary GIS across the newly created Integrated Social Sciences curriculum focus on problem-solving. We use scaffolding to integrate GIS concepts, activities and real-world exercises using a variety of Esri tools such as Community Analyst, Geoforms, ArcGIS Online, Survey 123 and Story Maps. Content specific media is shared along with strategies used to help students with spatial thinking and analysis.
