Enterprise GIS at the University of Michigan Botanical Gardens and Arboretum

The University of Michigan, Matthaei Botanical Gardens & Nichols Arboretum is a place for teaching, research, learning and more. MBGNA received a grant to create an Enterprise Geodatabase for our GIS data. With the use of Esri technology, we diversified the way we reach the University community by creating applications for faculty and students. Managing our collections and resources has also improved with GIS, including documenting prescribed burns and sharing GIS data in the classroom.
