Preventing Student Tardiness: How Many Students May Benefit from a Bus Pass?

In this community service learning project, we analyzed student data from a local high school to identify students who can benefit most from public transit. The role of GIS as a potential tool to address student tardiness will be discussed along with the project’s challenges. The study’s results suggest opportunities for collaboration between the school’s administration and local agencies.
