Military Geographic Support - the TACISYS System

The UK Military Survey TACISYS system provides military geographic support facilities mounted on a truck/container platform. This system has already been used on operations in Bosnia. TACISYS contains SUN and Silicon Graphics hardware platforms supporting ArcInfo, ArcView, ERDAS and bespoke military visualisation software. The paper will describe the facilities and capability provided by this system.
