These two facilitated panel sessions will address a new vision for collaboration between the Department of Defense Total Force (Active and Reserve), other federal and state GI&S actors, and professional associations to provide seamless GI&S capabilities in support of domestic operations. Part I will be comprised of three speakers sharing the perspective of US Code Title 10 components sharing case studies which illustrate their abilities and limitations in effectively employing GI&S capabilities. Part II will offer complementary views from GI&S stakeholders representing US Code Title 32 and civil components. Together, both panels will offer a fresh perspective on how we can pursue the common cause of enhancing domestic operations through new, extraordinary fusing of civil-military GI&S.
