In October 2009, the Beta Version of SDSFIE 3.0 was released to the DISDI Group and user community. At the same time, a series of Pilot Projects (five in total) started in order to: 1) test the Beta version on-line tools with real data, 2) continue to educate the Services and USACE on the data model and tools, and 3) identify any issues not addressed during the modeling builds for the SDSFIE 3.0. This presentation will provide a status report of the SDSFIE 3.0, starting from the post-modeling build of the Beta Data Model and the start of the five Pilot Projects. An overview of the Beta Data Model will be presented, highlighting some key changes from the prior releases to 3.0, as well as the on-line tools to browse, validate, generate, adapt, and migrate. The presentation will conclude with a report on the on-going Beta Pilot Projects with each of the Services and USACE.
