The prevalence of Web 2.0 technologies in business and culture today has quickly been embraced in the federal sector through emerging architectures and technologies and new communication approaches such as social media. This session will explore the role of GIS integration with these technologies through concrete examples as well as perspectives on the hope, and even hype, of these emerging trends and technologies for Gov 2.0.
