The Air National Guard (ANG) GeoBase Program provides an online geospatial production environment to support improved corporate-wide decision making capabilities. As with most organizations in the Department of Defense (DoD), federal, state, county and city levels, ANG leadership have identified geospatial data as a valuable corporate asset, with real measurable value. Likewise, ANG leadership recognizes, to ensure timely and accurate data, geospatial data workflows supported by an enterprise ANG Quality Assurance Plan (QAP) is essential. To sustain the QAP defined data workflows, the ANG geospatial environment utilizes components of Esri's Production Line Tool Set (PLTS) including Job Tracking for ArcGIS (JTX) extension and GIS Data ReViewer. JTX provides version control, workflow management, and project tracking. As the primary QC review method, GIS Data ReViewer employs conditional attribute validation to spatial verification QC checks. This ensures the data is accurate and compliant to ANG specifications for the benefit of the entire organization.
