A successful geodatabase implementation begins with an efficient data model and continues with both server and application tuning designed to support a well-understood workflow. This session will discuss the key factors for building and managing a successful multiuser GIS system with ArcGIS and ArcSDE. Topics that will be discussed in detail include database design and tuning, data loading procedures, and application design as well as tips and tricks. The session will also cover workflows for the efficient management of versioned data as well as other essentials needed for successful deployment of an enterprise geodatabase.
