The Presentation will include a brief history of GIS (Geographical Information System) within the Navajo Land Department to manage Navajo Nation land. The presentation addresses the development of spatial data in the beginning and the issues we are dealing with today. Overview on the several projects the Navajo Land Department – GIS Section was involved in and the outcome. During the presentation An Overview of the development of the Navajo Land Title Data System and how we escape from the stone ages into the modern world.
