The GIS program at the Federal Railroad Administration (FRA) has grown into an enriched source of GIS data and applications. This presentation will highlight the rail industry so the end user will have a better understanding of the GIS requirements for data development and applications. This presentation will also go over several unique GIS projects that will support better data quality and consistence.
