Using the USACE National Levee Database Model in California

—Dan Henderson, PBS&J

The USACE is in the process of refining their data validation process to include data from State and local agencies into the National Levee Database (NLD). Currently they are using California as a test case. The California State Department of Water Resources (CADWR) has been working with USACE by using their Statewide California Levee Database (CLD) as the primary dataset for testing and refining the overall validation process for non-Federal levees.
