The Role of Maps in ArcGIS

There is a new kind of GIS map that is used for deploying information on the Web for everyone. This session will describe how ArcGIS maps encapsulate things we do and how they can be used to share and serve geographic information. Topics will include building and sharing map and layer packages, geoprocessing tools, and models as well as datasets and imagery, map documents and map packages, and what Web maps are and how they are used.
