The Comprehensive Plan Builder provides a Web-enabled decision support system for planners, local government leaders, and the general public. By integrating State geographic information systems, the Regional Development Information System (RDIS), data visualization tools, and Internet Map Server technologies we are building the next generation planning tool.

This presentation introduces the Georgia Comprehensive Plan Builder and provides an overview of the application's framework--and more specifically how the application will automate the planning process using Internet and information technologies.
