A significantly important element of this master planning effort for the City is the development of a new water distribution geographic information system and a new state-of-the-art hydraulic model. The purpose of this paper is to provide an overview of development of hydraulic and water quality analysis of the City's water distribution system, pipeline rehabilitation and replacement, evaluation of improvement alternatives, and the benefits and issues of using GIS technology. |
