This session will cover the process, beginning with the development of database and conversion specifications, defining the scope of work, contract requirements, performance criteria (quality assurance/quality control), communications, deliverables, and project change control. The key to a successful project is making sure that the client and contractor have the same understanding of the products to be delivered, when they will be delivered, and how to make changes when necessary. Also presented will be alternatives to the traditional bid process for acquiring mapping services. |
