Abstract
Cultural Preservation Using ArcIMS
Track: Ecology, Archaeology, and Conservation

In the past two years the Coeur d'Alene Tribe has developed an interactive web site that allows users to explore the aboriginal territory of the Tribe. In particular the users can click on sites and view information in both static and video from about the individual sites. In the winter of 2001, the site transitioned from static maps to using ArcIMS. The session will discuss the experience of transitioning to ArcIMS.
