AbstractFacilitating Strategic Planning and Smart Growth Initiatives Using GIS Track: Cadastral and Land Records Author(s): Graciela Cavicchia, Nancy Zobl This paper presents the use of GIS in the Strategic Plan for Camden County, New Jersey, that received a State Smart Growth Grant last year. The objective of the planning process is to create a Regional Land Use Management Plan that will reflect smart growth and neighborhood conservation initiatives in the context of the goals articulated in the State Planning Act along with the potential nomination of Camden City as an Urban Complex. The paper presents the process of integrating data from state, county, municipal, and the Delaware Valley Regional Planning Commission resources to unite efforts into an integrated regional plan.
