Abstract
Analysis of the Market Distribution of Banks Using ArcView Spatial Analyst

Traditional market analysis of the distribution of banks involves representing point features and drawing constant rings or network rings around the points. Overlay of these rings produces a general distribution of the concentration of banks. The distribution of banks can also be represented by a simple density surface. ArcView Spatial Analyst can be used to derive a more sophisticated continuous surface representing the concentration of banks in an area.
