AbstractAnalysis of the Market Distribution of Banks Using ArcView Spatial Analyst Track: Business, Banking, and Insurance Author(s): Wesley Thomas Traditional market analysis of the distribution of banks involves representing point features and drawing constant rings or network rings around the points. Overlay of these rings produces a general distribution of the concentration of banks. The distribution of banks can also be represented by a simple density surface. ArcView Spatial Analyst can be used to derive a more sophisticated continuous surface representing the concentration of banks in an area.
