AbstractProcessing Data with ArcIMS at the Pennsylvania Spatial Data Clearinghouse Track: Metadata and Data Publishing Author(s): Ryan Baxter This paper presents the online data access and processing tools developed by the Pennsylvania Spatial Data Access (PASDA) system. PASDA is the official spatial data clearinghouse for the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania. PASDA provides free Internet access to GIS data and metadata to a wide variety of users from GIS experts to novices. Using ArcIMS, ArcSDE, and other components, PASDA has developed tools that emphasize ease of use, breadth of functionality, and transparency to the user. This functionality includes data searching, viewing, querying, buffering, clipping, reprojecting, downloading, and Geography Network access.
