The project intends to enhance local governance, focus development effort, and objectively allocate resources to address specific socio-economic issues that confront the people living in the barangay (village), smallest unit of government in the Philippines. The project utilized GIS to present socioeconomic indicators and aid the barangays in coming up with doable plans for implementation.
