AbstractYield Monitor Analysis in Wheat Using ArcGIS Track: Agriculture Author(s): Dennis Wright, V. Rasmussen, R. Ramsey Utah State University, NASA, and the Idaho Wheat Commission teamed up to conduct an experiment in hard red spring wheat during the 2001 growing season. The field was monitored throughout the season with satellite and aerial imagery and ground-truthed on the imagery dates. A yield monitor collected point data at harvest, and the data was analyzed using ArcGIS. The analysis showed that topography had the largest impact on yield, although water and nitrogen also played a small role.
