Thus, it is important to have a well-executed maintenance process. Many factors should be considered, such as data collection, data entry, workflow, and quality assurance. As a consultant working with Esri software for several utilities, The author has experienced many successes and encountered some pitfalls with GIS implementations and their subsequent maintenance.
