AbstractCoastal Orange County Habitat Management using Remote Sensing and GIS Track: Environment Management Author(s): Alice Brewster, Dale Johnson This paper examines the process used to map coastal sage scrub habitat in coastal Orange County, California, for The Nature Conservancy. The project uses ADAR high resolution multispectral imagery DIME software to produce image maps, and GIS to create a base data set from which trails, invasive species, postfire recovery, and general habitat conditions can be monitored.
