AbstractDistributed Human Networks and Bioindicators for General Environmental Monitoring Track: Environment Management Author(s): Thomas Baker, Steven Case Bioindicators are multiple measures of organism health in relation to environmental stressors that include several levels of biological organisms and time scales of response. Reporting of bioindicators by a geographically-dispersed network of citizens and schools allows for the simultaneous measurement of environmental factors. The aggregation of data allows for the creation of real-time, interactive, re-built maps that inform environmental management.
