Abstract
Using ArcGIS in the Clear Creek Erosion Assessment Project

The Clear Creek Watershed has posed a unique erosion control problem in which the runoff flows intercept with Highway 50 between Carson City, Nevada, and Lake Tahoe. The project identifies viable alternatives that, when implemented, will reduce erosion and sedimentation in the Clear Creek Watershed. This paper focuses on using several easy, built-in functions of ArcGIS that will turn this ordinary technical report into an easy-to-understand, informative, and fun-to-read report. Seeing is understanding.
