White River Valley Electric Cooperative is enjoying the benefits that full implementation of its Esri Software-based GIS and associated applications is bringing. WRVEC is using Esri-based GIS to automate its outage management, daily field engineering and mapping updates, and engineering planning. The Branson, Missouri cooperation is also expanding the availability of applications and information beyond traditional workstations with Web-enabling modules. Robert Johnston, computer specialist for WRVEC, will review how the cooperative implemented its GIS and has saved time and money over traditional work processes through integration of various enterprisewide solutions.
