Abstract
Intergrating GIS Technology with Transportation Applications

This my presentation will demonstrate how VHBable to intergrate traditional GIS with CAD and Microsoft Access for corridor planning studies. Topics will include: collecting transportation data and storing it in a Microsoft Access format, how ArcInfo route systems can be dynamically segmented and have a "live link" to Microsoft Access databases, how using actual roadway geometry created in MicroStation allows you to perform comprehensive analysis and mapping in ArcView, and automated printing routines.
