AbstractPACAF GeoReach: Supporting Operation Enduring Freedom Track: Defense and Intelligence Author(s): Tobi Sellekaerts, Lance Filler GeoReach is a military operation executed by HQ Pacific Air Forces to create and share a map of a forward-operating location (remote airfield) before Air Force forces are deployed. By exploiting imagery and performing a rapid on-site survey, the GeoReach team prepares a Common Installation Picture (CIP) in the form of a shared virtual map of the mission space. The data is then shared with commanders and deploying units through an IMS server on the SIPRNET. This program has proven itself in Operation Enduring Freedom, supporting deploying units worldwide from a single IMS server in Honolulu, Hawaii.
