AbstractDevelopment and Implementation of the Local Government Object Data Model Track: State and Local Government Author(s): Keith Cooke The Local Government Object Data Model was developed for local governments who are looking to migrate to the geodatabase but are unsure how to integrate Esri's object data models. This session will show how the Esri parcel data model and the basemap data model were evaluated and extended. Demonstrations will present how the Spatial Data Standards (SDS), (developed by the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers) were intergrated into this process by taking the best features of the models and the comprehensiveness of the SDS attributes. Finally, the session will demonstrate how the Local Government Object Data Model was implemented for the City of Birmingham, Alabama. Keith Cooke Geographic Information Services, Inc.
