Building a 911 geofile for emergency Computer Aided Dispatch (CAD) can be a time consuming and tedious process. There are tools and tricks I have learned in building the geofile for three cities that help this process become as accurate and smooth as possible. Will review GIS methods available to overcome the hurdles in geofile creation.
