Operations of Urban Local Authorities (ULA) in developing countries are manually operated and automation is only a slow process. Integrating various elements through one system using GIS is possible in Property Tax assessment, identifying revenue source and problem areas. FIS is a tool to enhance the financial strength and linking with GIS will provide decision-making system strong. This paper examines the possibilities of linking the GIS with FIS is to strengthen the urban system in a pragmatic manner.
