Abstract
GLIDE & P-GLIDE: USMC Geospatial Dissemination Systems
Track: Defense and Intelligence

Last year, the Marine Corps Intelligence Activity deployed GLIDE (Geographically Linked Information Dissemination Environment). Its success has spawned a new portable version P-GLIDE, as well as several other ArcIMS based enhancements to the GLIDE system. Additionally, great strides have been made in the development of metadata and within the coalition with the JIVA program. This paper identifies the utility of each of these areas in our effort to create a USMC wide geospatial dissemination system.
