Abstract
Geological Subsurface Model of Colombia and its Visualization in ArcView

INGEOMINAS is the institution in charge of geological data management in Colombia (South America). Several regional cross - sections of the country's terrain have been carried out, integrating geological maps with seismic and gravimetric data, in order to study the earth crust characteristics in the country. An ArcView 3.1 application has been designed to simultaneously operate surface and underground data. This application called "cross-section viewer", allows to display cross-sections like maps and to superimpose them on geological maps and all raster data available.
