AbstractMapping Sexual Minority Populations: Building an Inclusive Health Care Infrastructure Track: Health and Human Services Author(s): Kirsten Barrett, Judith Bradford, James Ellis This presentation will highlight the ways in which United States Census data and ArcView GIS can be used together to provide policy-makers, advocacy organizations, and leaders in health care with an in-depth understanding of the sociodemographic characteristics of persons living in same-sex households. The utility of mapping to inform decisions related to the development of a health care infrastructure inclusive of sexual minority populations is discussed.
