The Olivenhain Municipal Water District has continued to refine it's GIS
system which is entirely Web-based. This system uses Esri's MapObjects and is demonstrating on a daily basis that large GIS staffs at medium to small utilities are not required, and that GIS does not need to be as expensive as it has been in the past. Using the GeoViewer Online service from Nobel Systems, the District has realized impressive savings, while enjoying the benefits of a totally secure, full-featured Esri GIS.
