AbstractMetadata Made Easy Track: Metadata and Data Publishing Author(s): Frank Roberts For the past eight years the Coeur d'Alene Tribe has been a data repository for the Coeur d'Alene Basin. In that time we have amassed over 3,000 GIS data layers for the region. Creating usable metadata has been one key to the success of the program. The session will focus on how the metadata is currently used and maintained to help make managing a GIS program easier. We will also discuss our currently available metadata tool, and how it is used to make metadata quickly and easily.
