AbstractDemining is GIS Track: Defense and Intelligence Author(s): Bjorn Liszka Five thousand mines in a depot is logistics; 5,000 deployed mines is geography. Mines and unexploded ordnance all over the world are still taking a toll as lifelong suffering or death. They strike blindly and effect innocent civilians already marked by war. The Swedish Armed Forces has taken on the task to boost clearing of the deadly legacy left in countries plagued by war.
