City of Tucson, Electronic Compliance Assistance and Technical Support (eCATS)

The City of Tucson developed eCATS with ArcIMS as an environmental compliance management tool. ArcIMS graphically displays City project sites and retrieves regional information from environmental permits and regulations. Links to permit documents, tabular project forecasts, and visual presentation of analytical data are provided. eCATS includes an innovative function that uses an automated email tickler. The eCATS database is scanned for incomplete projects and generates emails to the responsible parties. eCATS with ArcIMS enables the City's to analyze site specific conditions and their impacts on the regional environmental resources.
